They could have either accidentally accepted it or “accidentally” accepted it. Microsoft is pretty bad at being sneaky with stuff like that.

People got tricked into upgrading to Windows 10, because it was disguised as a standard Windows update. Even pressing the X button was considered as consent.

Microsoft can be a pain lol I had a friend who told me when he woke up he had Windows 10 installed but had also said he never installed it. It was just coming out & he didn't want it at that time. He then looked & remembered he did a simple little update.
