New Super Mario Bros 2 Rainbow Levels unlocked

Well, at least until you exit them, since Nintendo have given everyone a 'present' as a reward for getting all those coins. Basically, if you've got five stars on your file and get the SpotPass message talking about how they've reached 100 billion coins or whatever, then all rainbow levels are temporarily unlocked immediately.

You could also temporarily unlock the rainbow levels by jumping onto the flagpole when the timer has double digits of the world you are on.
That explanation is a bit... confusing. Basically, to "unlock" the world one rainbow level, jump onto any flagpole with a time ending in 11.

Actually you are only half right. You see the ending number depends on the world you are on.

In world 1 finish with the last two digits in 11, world 2 22,world 3 33 and so on, for mushroom world is 77, flower 88, star 99.

Also, I just turned on the 3DS and indeed the Rainbow worlds are unlocked.
