Since Miyamoto admitted he's making both 2D and 3D Mario games for the 3DS, does this imply a New Super Mario Bros 3DS as the 2D one, and maybe another Mario Galaxy game for the 3D one?

I would really like to see an NSMB3DS. NSMB and NSMBW were really good, and I'd really like to see what they could accomplish with the 3DS.

No, there's a quick save-type thing. You can get to it in the pause menu on the map screen. NSMB DS is the one where you have to beat it first.

Oh yeah, that's right.
I actually am not a big fan of auto-saving, because it has a tendency (at least for me) to glitch up and lose a LOT of saved data. :/

I wouldn't mind another NSMB game...so long as they ditch multiplayer as the levels clearly aren't designed for it very well. As for if they will even make one...it's almost a definate yes. The games sell a lot and it would be the 3rd in the series making the name NSMB3DS fit even more.

I think they should do a multiplayer, just maybe not as chaotic as NSMBWii. On my main profile, Luigi and both Toads have about 10 continues whereas Mario has 99 lives. :/

Oh don't get me wrong. My cousin Greenwolf and I, along with two of his friends..beat the game in 4 player mode. It was a blast...but throughout the game it becomes clear that the game isn't properly built for multiplayer. I mean if they include multiplayer, I'll still enjoy the game, I personally think it should be minimized to 2 Players on screen at a time. Either way it's a Mario game and will always be enjoyable. If a another is released, I'd most likely get it (though I didn't get NSMBWii).

I would love to see a NSMB3DS. NSMB and NSMBWii were such good games and sold many copies (I believe) I would love to see what it could acomplish on the 3DS. I think they should keep multiplayer but only 2 on screen and then have mini-games for up to 4 players

Fallout: New Vegas has forever turned me away from auto-saving :/ That game is so glitchy...I actually can't complete the game because of a certain bug that's trapped me inside a building. But I digress.

I'd like to see them have a NSMB3DS. Even if the game isn't in 3D, the name works rather well (since the "3" has two functions).

I'd like one. But I would have one problem that I know it'll have before it'll even come out.
Difficulty.
*Sigh*
Unfortunatly I had to say it but NSMB was easy and NSMBWii was even easier (with the exeption of a few boss battles.) They should make the game a bit more difficult than the previous ones.
