Aracde Attack: And you did change it, I take it?

Hasegawa: Of course, of course, we were like 'oh my god' we have to change it, or there will be no deal.
 
I remember Mario was a game series that's always been exclusive to Nintendo and Sonic was exclusive to Sega. But when Nintendo bought out Sega then they acquired the Sonic game. So Mario has been there from the start but Sonic hasn't, even though Nintendo owns them both.

Actually Sega still owns the rights to Sonic, and they're not owned by Nintendo. Anyways I think it's kind of goofy Nintendo did this lol. Sonic is faster by a long shot, but someone over on r/Sonicthehedgehog said "Maybe he's just slowing down to let Mario keep up with him?" I like this idea. xD

Nintendo has never owned Sega OR Sonic.
