I thought I'd get a little #tbt action going on in here and post this video. The Nintendo 64 is my favorite console of all time and included SO many great games - Ocarina of Time, Goldeneye, Super Mario 64, the list really goes on forever. I also feel that the N64 controller set the stage for controllers to come - it was definitely the console to beat in its day, and I remember it being THE hottest item of the holiday season. Anyway, here's a really fun video (complete with 90's "nerd fashion") of Nintendo's 1996 unveiling of the N64 at E3 1996 - just some fun content for everyone on this fine day :)

I didn't even know there was an E3 event going on then :P

This was the time when 3D graphics was new and there were a lot of excitement in the gaming world. Nintendo is coming out with a console that is twice more powerful to compete with the Sony Playstation. Many people were excited back then to see their beloved Nintendo characters in 3D. I had a Playstation back then, and I was dying to get the Nintendo 64. Nintendo 64 is really one of the greatest consoles of all time.

Wow.  As Demon_Skeith said above me, I had no idea that E3 was around such a long time ago!  Still, it's really interesting to see the unveiling of a console I've used so much and for so long.  Thanks for sharing the video with us :3

Woah, there was E3 back then? That's pretty awesome! I guess it was still as popular as it is today among fans. Or at least, growing some sort of popularity among the crowds.

A few years ago when our N64 was working, one of my favorite games to play was BomberMan. My favorite part would be defeating the bosses. I wonder how many people still have their N64.
