Nintendo releasing a micro Wii?

Or a smaller Wii console to try and interest the (very small) crowd that both don't own a Wii and don't want/can't afford a Wii U?

That's the latest rumour, Here's what this mini console entails:

Is it true? Might be, Nintendo have done desperate things like Wii price cuts recently to try and get a few last sales out of a dying brand. But who would even want one?

Why does Nintendo sound like Apple?

You start off with a DS.
Now you have a DS Lite, it's smaller.
You have a DSi, it's even smaller.
You have a DSiXL, it's bigger for no reason.
You have a 3DS, it's small, but not really bigger than DSi (I think I'm not sure, I haven't compared).
Then you have a 3DSXL, another pointless enlargement.

Now for the Wii they want to make it small. What's the point. Either buy it the way it is and don't mess with how it looks for no reason.

Why does Nintendo sound like Apple?

Nintendo's been doing this way longer than Apple. Look at the NES 2, SNES 2, the Gameboy Pocket and the Gameboy Advance Micro.
