Nintendo expects its new game console to continue its integrated hardware-software product concept. The company has been working on the concept since earlier consoles like the Nintendo DS and Wii. However, it saw the Switch as a new starting point to expand the company’s IPs and value-added services.

The page also shows that Nintendo intends to make its next gaming system compatible with the Nintendo Accounts that people have set up on the Switch. The company wants to establish and maintain positive relationships with its customers in the long term. It plans to do so by continuing to provide content and services based on the accounts.

So, I was really hoping Nintendo just stay with the Switch, why? Why not? There is nothing to change or fix, its a perfect console for home or on the go, beef it up a bit spec wise is all they need to do.

If nothing else I hope they at least keep moving forward with one console.

I do hope whatever they make will be like the Switch. I don't take it with me on the go, but if I'm just grinding or something, it's nice to hold it while watching videos.

Exactly what I was going to mention. I like that they've tried to just completely wipe off the Wii U from our memories by not even acknowledging it.

Won't work on me. I'm actually brining my Wii U to play Sm4sh with some friends on Thursday. I got the sudden urge to play Smash Tour and Nintendo can't stop me. Unless... they some how do.

Ninetendo is on the steady advancement, they got the modernized version which is the "switch type. Switching from Wii U to switch shows how futuristic and innovative they've been so far.
