A fighting game with Nintendo and Capcom characters playable? Apparently so:

Considering you are trying to make Street Fighter IV 3DS accessible to a wider audience, did you ever think about including Nintendo characters to broaden the appeal?

Yoshinori Ono said he'd like to make such a game apparently.

Hell yes, Capcom's fighting games rule. Toss in some Nintendo and it's perfect. Though I don't see how they would fit in certain characters like Mario. Cel Shading could work.
