Non-fiction books are based on real events, people, and facts, and provide information on a specific subject. They can include biographies, history books, self-help books, cookbooks, travel guides, and more.
Fiction books, on the other hand, are works of imagination and are not based on real events. They often feature characters, plots, and settings that are created by the author, and can include genres such as romance, science fiction, mystery, and fantasy. The primary goal of fiction books is to entertain, rather than educate or inform.

Do you prefer nonfiction or fiction books?

If I'm going to read a book based on realism then it has to be non-fiction. All that fiction stuff just sounds like padding for drawing out points in life over others.

I don't normally do non-fiction. I've read the occasional autobiography but they were few and far between. I normally stick to just fiction because I read for the fun of it.

I like reading fiction as well as non-fictions. I read fiction for the craft where as non-fictions for substance.
