What the hell? How can a fitness game outsell Ocarina of Time 3D? Makes me almost ashamed of the poor taste of some of the gamers here... It's not even Wii Fit, which was apparently decent.

The Metro posted about it here:

Some fitness games are actually decent, like you said, but I've never even heard of...
*checks title again*
Zumba Fitness?
I don't necessarily think it's a bad taste in games per se, maybe it's more of a different correlation (that I personally don't see just yet).

It's not so much bad taste, more the proliferation of casual gamers who want a psuedo-keep fit game. Zumba Fitness has been in the top 10, and in and out of the top 3, ever since it came out.
Although as the article said, Ocarina of Time 3D still sold a substantial number of copies. It's just that the monstrosity that is Zumba Fitness sold more.

That will have a lot to do with it as well. There are simply not enough 3DS owners to buy Ocarina of Time. To be honest, these results are pretty good. For Ocarina of Time, this is just the sales from Saturday and Sunday (and any early releases), so 20% saturation is pretty damn good. And quite a lot of places are offering bundles, so that should encourage more people to buy 3DS's.
