"NVIDIA is excited to see OnLive launch new services that are based on NVIDIA GPU technology. Game streaming is the most convenient way to enjoy PC games on any device, anywhere, and the new look OnLive game streaming service is a great example.

We continue to work with OnLive and the rest of the cloud gaming industry to make game streaming even better on NVIDIA GRID. The Maxwell generation of NVIDIA GRID is going to be great. Stay tuned."

- Phil Eisler, general manager of NVIDIA GRID

Nice to see that both Onlive, and Nvidia are working together to create a powerful online streaming games platform for many devices via the internet.

I think Onlive also needs to partner with High Speed ISPs like Google Fiber, Verizon FiOS, and faster cable, and DSL service provider, so the gamers internet connection is fast enough for streaming full PC games to their devices like PCs, tablets, and smartphones.

I have to wonder if they are a little too late with Sony and Microsoft working on bringing this to their systems?

Onlive is for PC, Laptop, Ouya, Micro consoles, Smartphone, and tablets which gamers already own vs. needing to buy a Xbox One, or PS4 for $399-499, and also paying a monthly subscription for PSN+ or Xbox Live Gold.

Onlive also still have members from 2003 when it opened. It changed owners, but the members still have their old accounts which they can use to play online games.

Onlive is also mostly for PC Games like Steam instead of console games, so PC gamers will pick Onlive because it has more PC Games with controls made to work well for Keyboard and Mouse, and joystick controllers.
