Should the next 3D Zelda game be open world or more linear?

I have only played BOTW, I never beat it though. However, I do think that Zelda does work excellently as a open world franchise and would prefer the next game to also be open world. However, it probably would have similar elements to BOTW. What do you think?

The last two Zelda games have been good for open world, but I really don't want them to be that big of a open world again.

It's good to have a variety, but open-world Zelda just makes sense. It's meant to explore and do what you want even if you don't know what you are doing. I think the peak of Zelda is about finding items, solving puzzles, and beating enemies while taking in great detail how much landscape or imagined landscape (for 2D sprite work) there is.
