People getting their 3DS blocked

So the only way of running the Acekard updates is by having it inserted in your 3DS? I thought you could insert the microSD into your PC (using a converter, of course) and updating it from there...

And in a way, I´m not that wrong, am I? You would download the update from Acekard's website on your PC, copy it to you Acekard (I should say, to your microSD), then unplug it from your PC and insert the Acekard on your 3DS. Then you execute the patch from there. Am I correct?
 
well you insert it into a DS, DSLITE, or DSi to get it to work on your 3ds after the update. The update is different than the pc updates. Look into it.
