It's persona so I'm loving it. However I do think P5 is still a lot better when it comes to introducing characters, persona awakenings, story and the like.

I agree with this, P3 still shows they were finding out the current formula to what makes Persona games great. I kind of wish they reworked P3R from the ground up and changed everything.
Biggest annoyance for me so far is how social links are done with random boring looking side characters. In P5 you'd do them with your own party members and other interesting people. I can't even remember the names of these people.
