So for those not in the known, Persona 4 Dancing All-Night released in Japan and first-print copies came with Blu-Ray that included the 2nd trailer for Persona 5. Obviously, people have leaked the trailer online. There's been many pictures since yesterday but the trailer itself leaked today.

Sadly, Atlus is taking down the trailer ASAP and I know it doesn't stay up on Youtube for long.  Which is kind of annoying, fuckers showed an old trailer at E3 and now that there's some new shit they want to take it down because it might affect sales of P4D in Japan. Fuckers.

It's kind of funny to me that SMTxFE is looking like the cheeky, sugary happy game and Persona 5 is looking so dark and grim so far. It's even looking like the Personas themselves aren't that nice this time around, almost looks like Arsene is controlling the protagonist at times.

I can't wait for P5!
 
One thing I worry about with this is that Atlus is sort of forgetting the rest of the Shin Megami franchises outside of Persona.

What about Nocturne? What about Digital Devil Saga? What of Raidou Kuzunoha Vs. ? What of Devil Summoner?


Once Persona 5 comes out, they should look to get some of the other Shin Megami games some recognition.
 
I'm so excited for this game, aaahhhhhhhh!!!  :woot:  :woot:

I hate that I have to buy a new system to play it (wish so badly that it was coming out on Vita instead) but as long as I manage to save up the money to get both the game and the system on release date, it'll be worth it, even though I really shouldn't be spending money right now since I can't get a job.

@blastguardgear, I could be wrong but from what I've seen, the Persona series seems to have had more success recently as a whole than the rest of the Shin Megami franchise. I can't really blame them for focusing on what makes the most money, but it is unfortunate that the rest of the franchise hasn't seen as much attention.

Persona series is just more popular, which I would say all due to the fact to the school kid aspect of it.
 
Shin Megami Tensei 4 released not too long ago. Persona is more popular, so they milk it with spin offs.

I do miss the PS2 era though. They released so many sub series then, like Raidou or Digital Devil Saga...
