One big P5R mod that has been in the works for a while is a mod that gives the game a female protagonist. This was created by modder Chlorophylls, who had first posted WIP videos about the mod in 2019, running off the vanilla version of the game. Once they saw Royal was ported to PC, they moved work to that version instead. After several years of work, the first version of the female protagonist mod is now available for download.
