A lots changed for me in my, per se, leave of absence. I've been different people socially, I've done a lot, I've had a lot of time to think, I've done much less in the way of gaming than I once did, but still managed to keep a healthy relationship with the games of the past, but the point of all this mumbo-jumbo is that in that time, I had a lot of time to do a lot of thinking through a lot of different paths. That being said this topic is moreso to discuss your philosophy. Put it out there, whatever you think about Why we're here, Life, God, Existentialism, Atheism, Agnosticism, People, Society, Science, Metaphysics, Great Philosophers of the past and what you agreed with or disagreed. Now remember, feel free to discuss but PLEASE keep it friendly. Everyone has an opinion, and they're not bound to taking yours. The way my dad always told me when I was young was have an open mind, but be discretionary. You don't have to change your views, but don't reject others.
This all being said, I'll start:
First thing you should know about me is I do believe in a God. My reasoning is mostly the whole intelligent design bit, and there just seems to be kind of a "universal harmony" if you will and I don't feel like that could go unconducted.
That being said, I've always been one to ask the question why. About everything. Odd thing about that question is it always seems to take you to a place where you no longer can answer it. For me that place was God. His existence (at least to me) doesn't preclude him being tist
