Pictochat Online idea

I think if Nintendo released an online-based Pictochat, it would be pretty cool. Though pictochat was completely retarded on the DS systems, since there was limited range, I think an online Pictochat would be pretty successful. If they were worried about trolls, and flamers, add something like "Report this user," or something. It would be pretty cool if it added Mii support too. Your chat name resolves around your Mii's name, and perhaps your Mii as an icon. I think it would be better instead of just messaging each other through Swap Note. Anybody agree?

If you follow my posts you'll find me mentioning that concept quite a bit and Nin3DS agreeing with me. I mentioned you have a perfectly great online wi-fi connection and they force you to use SpotPass and StreetPass, which is lame. They could have just added the Swap Note features onto the DSi's improved version of Pictochat and they would have been golden! Heck, there is potential for the 3DS to be a webcam, as well, if you wanna toss THAT into the mix!

I miss the on-screen keyboard. I hate my cruddy 3DS stylus-based writing. Sloppy and hard to fit into the tiny screen.

Miiverse probably will include this. Perhaps that will encourage a friend of mine to use it when it becomes available; he's paranoid about contact with people he doesn't know making using Miiverse's other features out of the question.

I don't see MiiVerse is will have a chat system anytime soon, and if it does, I'm willing to bet it's fixed sentences like in the Pokemon Union Room chats.
 
That would be a god send to me, a live 3DS chat, connected up. They could really do alot more with the 3DS, including the webcam and other stuff like maybe a Frickin youtube app, god it can handle it!!!!
