Save the bugs!

I don't plan on buying it because I've never been too into Pikmin. Though my only exposure to it was being like 8 when it came out and all the giant monsters scared me and the time limit stressed me out. There is part of me that wants to try the series again, but not at the moment. I did, however, get the Pikmin 4 demo because I want to make a little guy.

I feel like real-time strategy is fun if you know what you are doing and understand the mechanics and end goals. I want to try the prior ones first but the polish on ideas and combat make this one look good too.

Update: I made a little guy

The character creator is very limited, but all the options are adorable so it gets a pass.

I blame all the crazies who paid from all those Pikmin 4 ads over at Times Square for the strong sales this game is getting.

I have beaten this game, and it's the most user-friendly of every mainline Pikmin title released. There are some tough parts as you progress through the game, but not as tough and cheap as Pikmin 2 was. Night expeditions can get insane especially later on, and getting Gold and/or Platinum in all Dandori Battles and Challenges can prove to be a daunting task for those up to it.

If you enjoyed the previous Pikmin games and craving for more or never played one in your life, get this game if you haven't yet.

Ive only dabbled with the 3rd game on Wii U so I'll have to try this out at some point when I get the chance.
