Pikmin confirmed for Wii U

Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto has revealed that a new Pikmin title, previously under development for Wii, will now come to the new Wii U console instead, making it the first confirmed title for the device.

As Miyamoto says:

and the creative side of me that wants to tell you we're working on Pikmin.

Anyone excited for this, and maybe wondering why said game wasn't shown at E3?

Hopefully not that it's on the Wii U they'll be able to make it extra good.
It probably won't be a launch title (Nintendo don't want to scare off the third parties), but hopefully it'll be out fairly soon after launch.

I always buy first party launch titles,or none.They should just keep it secret from the 3rd parties,.

I sure am! I was wondering about the Pikmin 3 - I'd heard it was being made on the internet but got so excited about all the other games coming out I completely forgot about it.

The good news is its now confirmed. But once more this raises the question of how much the WiiU will cost and if I'll have enough money to buy it.

You should play Pikmin 2.Its way better than the first one.One of my favorite gamecube games too.
