Playing on your own or with friends?

By playing with friends I mean in the same room not online. I know a lot of people like to play on their own more than they do with friends but I guess it depends on what kinda games they like to play.

I myself enjoy playing with another person just for the banter we have whilst we play, as my screen isn't all that big having any more than 2 players on at a time makes the games really hard to play. I don't normally play on my own now I just get bored very easily and end up turning the console off.

Which do you prefer? Are you a lone wolf when it comes to gaming or do you enjoy the company?
 
I have to say that I enjoy playing on my own a lot more than with others, but that's just the way I feel. Sometimes I just load up a game and have a little session not really paying attention to what I'm doing and I find it relaxing & it also gives me time to think.

Just lately though I've had a friend around and we have been playing a game on the Xbone together (I've had the controller and she was telling me what to do) and it was pretty good fun.
 
I usually play alone as I don't have a microphone to talk with my friends so I just play it on my own but sometime I meet with them on skype and we try to organise some game session all together. It's really fun even tough the lack of voice comunication.
 
I quite like the nostalgia of split screen and the joking that goes on when you're playing in the same room, but at the same time I really like being able to game alone.

It's a great opportunity to relax, playing games on your own leaves you with such a sense of escapism that I can sit down for 5 hours playing and end it feeling mentally refreshed.
 
It depends.
If the company is really fun to hangout with, I prefer to play with them ...otherwise...it's better to play in isolation.
