The next installment of the mega-popular Pokeman series, Pokemon Black Version and Pokemon White Version, launches in North America on Mar. 6, 2011, Nintendo said today.
The new series launched this past year in Japan on Sept. 18., and would go on to sell over 2.5 million copies in just two days, a new first week record for the franchise. Pokemon Diamond and Pearl sold 1.5 million copies in the first week in 2006.
Pokemon Black and White introduces more than 150 new Pokemon, and each game has exclusive content. Pokemon Black Version includes the Reshiram Pokemon as well as the metropolitan Black City. Pokemon White Version includes the Pokemon Zekrom and White Forest region.
