I copy and pasted this from somewhere...
"Hp:

Icirrus City, Surfing. Levels 15-35
100% chance of running into Stunfisk. They give 2 Hp EVs a pop.
However, there is a catch, Stunfisk has a 50% of carrying the ability Static,
which may paralyze when the opponent makes contact. If you’re training with
somebody who doesn’t make contact, easy peasy. Otherwise, you might wanna
consider else where.

Icirrus City, Fishing. Levels 35-55
70% of running into Barboach. They give 1 Hp Ev a pop.
The other 30% is Stunfisk again, either beat them up or run, your choice.

Route 1, Shaking grass. Levels 2-4
You have to run around and spawn shaking grass for this one, but 100% of
Audino, who give 2 Hp EVs a pop. So if you’re hatching eggs or something, it
might be worth it… maybe.

Attack:

Pinwheel forest, entrance. Levels 12-17
50% of running into either Timburr or Pidove, both give 1 Atk a pop.
10% of running into Sawk/Throh, both give 2 Atk a pop.
Also 40% of running into Tympole, who gives 1 spd EV, so if you’re
into that go ahead. Decent place for physical sweepers.

Relic Castle, B3F-B6F. Levels 34-37
50% of running into Krokorok, who gives 2 Atk a pop.
50% of running into Cofagrigus, who gives 2 Def a pop.
Soooo, it may be worth it if you’re building a physical tank.

Route 1, dark grass. Levels 32-35
35% of running into Watchog, who gives 1 Atk a pop.
25% of running into Scraggy, who gives 1 Atk a pop.
40% of running into Herdier, who gives 2 Atk a pop.
So 100% of running into somebody who gives atk. Awesome spot.

Dragonspiral Tower, 1F. Levels 30-33
50% of running into Golett, who gives 1 Atk a pop.
20% of running into Mienfoo, who gives 1 Atk a pop.
30% of running into Druddigon, who gives 2 atk a pop.
Another 100% atk here.

Defense:

Victory Road, interior 2F, 4F, 5F, 6F, and 7F. Levels 37-42
40% of running into Durant, who gives 2 Def a pop.
30% of running into Boldore, who gives 1 Def AND 1 Atk a pop.
10% of running into Meinfoo, who gives 1 Atk a pop.
20% of running into Woobat, who gives 1 Spd a pop.
Check Swirling Dust for Excadrill, who gives 2 Atk a pop.

If you want JUST defense, stay CLEAR from here, as only Ainto helps you there.
If you want def and atk this place is pretty good, bar the freakin zuba… I
mean swoobat (they even sound alike…)

Relic Castle, B3F-B6F. Levels 34-27
50% of running into Cofagrigus, who gives 2 Def a pop.
50% of running into Krokorok, who gives 2 Atk a pop.

OR B7. Levels 47-50
30% of running into Sandslash, who gives 2 Def a pop.
20% of running into Cofagrigus, who gives 2 Def a pop.
15% of running into Onix, who gives 1 Def a pop.
35% of running into Krokorok, who gives 2 Atk a pop.

Choose which one you want based on level. B7 is slightly higher chance for
getting somebody who gives you def EVs, but lv 50 can be a little hard to
train on, especially with the closest PokeCenter being a doctor at the
entrance of Desert Resort.

Chargestone Cave, 1F. Levels 24-27
20% of running into Ferrosee, who gives 1 Def a pop.
29% of running into Klink, who gives 1 Def a pop.
10% of running into Boldore, who gives 1 Def and 1 Atk a pop.
39% of running into Joltik, who gives 1 Spd a pop.
2% of running into Tynamo, who gives 1 Spd a pop.

This place is pretty good if you want a bulky speedster.

Wellspring Cave, 1F. Levels 10-13
50% of running into Roggenrola, who gives 1 Def a pop.
50% of running into Woobat, who gives 1 Spd a pop.

Another place for bulky speedsters. Low level too for easy training.

Special Attack:

Celestial Tower, All floors. Levels 26-29
100% of running into either Litwick or Elgyem, both give 1 Sp Atk a pop.

You really don’t need anywhere else, and anywhere else is mucked up with
other garbage you have to fight. This place might be slow, but VERY consistant

Special Defense:

Relic Castle, Volcarona’s Room. Levels 47-50
100% of running into Claydol, who gives 2 Sp. Def a pop.

If you can, USE THIS PLACE! It might be high levels, but Claydol is an easy
enough kill, good exp, and 100% chance of getting TWO EVs?!

Route 18, Surfing. Levels 5-15
100% of running into Frillish, who gives 1 Sp. Def a pop.

This is another decent place. It might not be 2 per fight, but its low enough
that anybody can use it.

Speed:

Route 1, Surfing. Levels 5-15
100% of running into Basculin, who gives 2 Spd a pop.

Thats right, annoying li’l fishy has a beautiful use. I’m not even going to
list any other spots because this spot is fantastic."

Enjoy!

Not to be rude or anything, but am I the only one who honestly could care less about playing pokemon competitively? I mean, sure theres this whole EV and IV system thats part of the game, but its freaking pokemon. I never saw it as a thing to be taken seriously. All I want is a team made up of the coolest looking guys in the game and stick with them. Is that so wrong?

Take it easy, nobody's telling you any different here. There are just people like me who want to make their Pokemon strong regardless of what they look like. I'm sure if you YouTube'd a Wi-Fi battle, you'd be somewhat hooked to stats

I respect your point of view, but I prefer to get the perfect Pokemon while still having fun, it depends who you are, as a trainer, I guess, hah >__>

Irrelevant to the topic, this isn't a rant and rage topic. If you didn't want to be rude, then don't post about your opinion and ruin someone else's topic.

When it comes to EV training...it's not difficult and it's actually fun to do. I also like to play with my favorite pokemon. My favorite Pokemon happen to be a bit weaker than most, so I EV train them to be stronger and have fun doing so. If I lose, then I lose. This isn't a hard process and adds to the experience of the game.

I owe you my thanks, Porkman

... and that's what Pokemon is all about! I couldn't have said it better!

That, my friend, is a textbook example of the difference between hardcore and softcore gamers. Nobody is right and nobody is wrong, so obviously opinions aren't bad. But if it's downing the topic, it's kind of pessimistic, like Porkman said.

I'm gonna be writing this down in my tablet today. I'll be EV training today. This topic is very useful and will continue to get views so long as it remains here.

Love it, in fact My Lvl 100 Nidoking is becoming even STRONGER than before thanks to new game mechanics

I'm still rather new to Pokemon White. Would someone mind explaining EVs and its counterparts in depth?

EDIT: I've done some research and I understand a bit better now how Effect Values affect stats. But how do you "gain" EVs? Do they accelerate certain stat growths?

*sigh* Effort Values not effect. http://www.serebii.net/games/evs.shtml Everything you need to know.

For Defense, you should try Pinwheel Forest (in the dark grass ONLY).
-Venipede (common) [1 Def pt]
-Whirlipede (rare) [2 Def pts] Dark Grass
-Sewaddle (common) [1 Def pt]
-Swadloon (rare) [2 Def pts] Dark Grass
*Note: I like this spot the best although Pidove (1 Speed pt) and Petilil (1 Sp.Def pt) appear fairly commonly too. You can always just run away after you KO the one Pokemon you need if two appear.
