Are Pokemon Games Being Released too fast? I think Yes
Before Black/White Versions
The games were well spread out.
Letting people make the most of the game, Money well spent.
Letting them develop Strategies for battling using new moves.
To be honest B/W has been out for two years. But the instant follow ups of B/W 2 And now X/Y. Has made me feel like i havent had enough time to adjust to the new changes. We are now into 1 release a year of the main games. I'm running low on game funds, and i haven't yet bought B/W 2 and now X/Y???? Why must everything change??? Why must i not have enough time to raise money for these games???
I think X/Y should have been announced late this year and released in mid 2014.
This is only my opinion, most of you probably make money or are given money for these games. But i like to get my moneys worth out of all my games.
So what are you guys thoughts?

my argument was once you play one, you play them all. but right before Black and white V1 and V2 the minigames were AWESOME then they changed it .. and it was not cool it then just felt like playing the first one all over again.. yes they tried other version of game play style and not many went over well.. i give them credit for that..

i just pray they did not skimp on the story game play and length of the game for the graphics...

i found this

cartridges for the 3DS can hold up to 8 GB of space. At launch thier
will be 2 GB cartridges, but if developers want they can upgrade to 8
GB. That is ridiculously large and somewhat unnecessary, but hey the
more the merrier.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 - 1.2 GB

Zelda Wind Waker - 1.3 GB

Fanal Fantasy X - 4 GB

Super Smash Bros. Brawl - 7 GB

Most XBox 360 Games - 8 GB

so i just hope they stop cheating us and give us a long game for 3ds, they can be better folks... they could be like the 360 if they wanted..

as for how fast they are coming out.. ok the thing is if you had a ton of money you have to put the money back into the company very fast in business. What they did LATER was make different versions honestly this felt like it should have been tried in the early years not mid to half way.. of course if they keep going for years even then these will be the .. early years :p

Maybe if they stopped releasing them so quickly GameFreak could come up with an ORIGINAL concept for a story and stop boring me with the same story in EVERY version outside of Pokémon XD. black and White were atrocious, in my opinion. there were no side games like Safari Zone, Game Corner or the underground bases as previous installments had and it felt as though it had very little to offer outside of competitive battling. I'm not a competitive gamer and much prefer my competitive style to be things like Mario Party rather than battling. I didn't mind the co-op on the subway, but really all B/W have to offer are "catch, battle, battle, battle, repeat". If they released B/W2 or X and Y later they may have given themselves time to stop repeating the same story as well as create new side events to break from the monotony of battling, farming, and grinding.

I swear, if X and Y don't have a new story or bring back side events, I am done with the series aside from spin-offs. I actually get angrier the more I think of how much was removed and how bad B/W were compared to what they could have been.

I argue that the spacing of the games is not the issue as it has remained consistent. You have to remember that Gen 1 and Gen 2 were more spaced out here due to regionalizing complications. The mad rush is brought on by the expanding content brought on with the new games. X and Y are literally due out a year and a half after BW2. Considering the version 2 games were only expansions to already existing game structure, there is little to do with the game once you "beat it". The same competitive structure can be used in the new games assuming migration is integrated. You also have to keep in mind that Game Freak faces funder pressure from nintendo. Pokemon has always been the biggest reason Nintendo sells handhelds. If the don't get a 3ds game out then they face huge backlash. In fact, bw2 were released to buy Masuda time while he worked on X and Y. It's why Unno was the director lead despite Masuda's iron grip on leading the developnent.

Nintendo needs to make pokemon games like mystery dungeon. When i say that i mean the story. The twists really make them a great games. Also the only games i felt like was long enough to be worth my money was Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Mario Kart Wii I am still having fun with both of them since getting them 2+ years ago.
Step up your game Nintendo!
Make a game that will inpress us.

Nintendo only offers the console for Pokemon. The game is designed by Game Freak. Nintendo does not develop the title.

The end argument is that if nintendo games don't *impress* you then you may not be an avid Nintendo fan. Many games have entertained fans since the 80's when the NES was introduced. By slowing down production because a small handful feel Nintendo needs to let them catch up would be shameful to the industry. Nintendo has already admitted it neglected it's core demographic in favour of appealing to audiences it was missing. The end result was that the wii brought in some new income that was quickly lost when they lost interest AND because they alienated their core, many hardcore fans simply didn't buy the wii when it launched. It is when Nintendo makes these accomodations like a push to slow down that they tick more people off and lose profit. Game Freak has furthered this problem by not giving pre order bonuses but launching events 2 months later that reward late purchasers with highly exclusive pokemon.

No one is holding a weapon to you and making you rush through your game. No one is making you buy the new game. A game is only released too fast if it is not largely anticipated. I think with all the hype, this game can't be released soon enough. At least I notice more people foaming over it than talking it down.

I don't think they're fast. Yes, Black and White were not my favorite, but they weren't too bad of games. Personally, I didn't like the lack of mini games. No underground. No Safari Zone. No Game Corner. No Pal Park. Etc.

Best mini game of D/P is catching the Pokemon in Pal Park. AND it was the only game with a Pal Park.
