App Annie estimates that Pokemon Go has crossed $500 million in global revenue stemming from consumer spending across iOS and Android, the two widely used mobile platforms on which it’s available. The game is on track to hit the one billion in revenue milestone by the end of this year.
The report mentions that Pokemon Go has hit the half-a-billion milestone within just 60 days of its launch.
Flappy Birds never reached $500 million. The creator of Flappy Birds closed the game rather early for personal reasons. Candy Crush Saga took more than 200 days according to the article, but it only took Pokemon Go 60 days.
