Howdy! Porkman here! It's been a long time since I've hosted a contest and I think it's a good time to pick things up with something that was very popular last year. So as the title reads....this will be the sequel to the "Pokemon Trainer: You" art contest I hosted last year. The objective here is to create yourself as a Pokemon trainer and give yourself some sort of a backstory and purpose. Be creative, artists. I want to see a lot of submissions here.

Bio: A trainer whom after meeting up and journeying with two other trainers and rescuing his Scizor from a criminal team , has decided to enter the Pokemon World Tournament with his three Pokemon of choice. His ranks are rapidly increasing and has become known for using his oddly colored Pokemon. He hopes to re-encounter his past comrades.​

Why don't you reuse the old rewards? i'd think it'd be easier than making new ones and having to add those into the system.

Making awards isn't too hard. I may reuse them, i'm still thinking it through.

What does "comparison photo" refer to, if I may, please?

If I remember right, (and by all means Porky correct me on this) it's how close it resembles a real picture of yourself.

It's completely optional, but it's a comparison of your trainer to an actual photo of yourself.

Must it resemble me IRL? On can it be like resembling a turtle or something?

And Wth? Are you planning to be a Ninja Turtle trainer, Fitfall? I can't picture the theme song for that. "Leonardo leads, Donatello does machines. Raphael is cool but cruel, Michelangelo is a party dude. Fitfall captures Pokémon" doesn't sound right in my head. :p How many Water / fighting types are there that are both?

2. Go onto the image and select Options>share image and copy the BB Code version.
3. Paste code into post.

I guess I'll just join, though I don't think I want to show people how I look IRL..


It's just a cartoon...you don't need to include an actual image of you. It's optional. I judge people's art fairly...don't worry.

Some people, such as myself, cannot upload anything because we cannot make galleries due to the forum's server being full. I cannot make a new personal or public album due to getting an error about maximum limit being reached. This has been a problem since I joined at the end of January, at least. Nin3DS will have to go through the members list, find ones who haven't been on in years, then delete the galleries in order to make space and I am almost positive that he just does not have that kind of time, unfortunately.

Were you trying to make a private album? If so, blame the fact I'd forgotten to enable the option and hence the error message when you tried to make one.

Try making an album now, it should in theory work.

remember the day you had me attempt to upload the screenshot to an album? I tried public and private both with the same error. Will try now though ^^

I'll start accepting submissions on the 30th. As for the deadlines...let's try by the 30th of the next month. So from 30th to 30th. A nice window of time Judging will begin after the deadline (April 30th).
