Man E3 has a lot of surprising stuff in it. One of them being about Pokémon X and Y. The biggest thing about X and Y is the new fairy type, which is super effective against dragon types. I guess we had to see this coming when we didn't know what type sylveon would be.

There is a 3rd trailer revealed. It shows 3 new pokemon and a new sky battle mode. Also, the trailer shows a sneak peek on a new 1vs5 battle mode.

There is a 4th trailer revealed. It shows what could be a gym and a leader, the possible rivals, roller skating instead of running with shoes, and 4 new pokemon.

More info coming from the E3 behind close doors Developers conference:

  • When the player start up the games, they will be presented with seven language options - English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese and Korean. These are the languages previous games in the series have been released in.
  • There are three new Pokémon: the Water/Poison-type Skrelp, the Water-type Clauncher and the Fire/Flying type Talonflame.
  • The game features a new communication feature which takes place on the lower screen of the Nintendo 3DS - the PSS (Player Search System), which allows players to search for others locally or globally to battle and trade. It will recognise other players playing Pokémon X or Pokémon Y and if you interact with anyone, they will become an "Acquaintance". Afterwards, you will be able to register them as a friend (limited to 100). This is integrated with your 3DS Friend List, so anyone who is registered as a friend on your friend list will automatically be registered onto the PSS.
  • A new type of battle has been announced, called a "Horde" - these can be as much as 5-on-1 battles!
  • Another new type of battle was introduced - "Sky Battles". Only Flying-type Pokémon (and a few exceptions, such as Pokémon with the ability Levitate) can enter these battles.
  • The introduction of the new Fairy-type was done primarily to balance out the Dragon-type.
  • At the moment, there are no plans for DLC but the option is being looked into. Backwards compatibility is also being worked on.
  • Different areas will feature different modes of transportation, such as the roller blades, Pokémon riding and rail grinding we've seen so far. Riding Pokémon will help you traverse various terrains, such as riding a Rhyhorn across rocky areas.
  • You can select music before a battle begins.

WOW, I can't wait.

Pokemon has grown so much over the years, I still remember when I bought Yellow version for my gameboy color... Now look at me now, i'm an adult and still in love with this franchise.

Pokemon will never get old for me, honestly.

Ok so this... disapointing too. Fairy type is... lame. *Puts head down.* Pokemon Amie looks cool though.

Ok, I just don't get you today. Maybe you are in those days of the month, who knows. Fairy Type Brings balance to the Overpower Dragon type, that was only matched by Ice and we all know that the ice type is kinda under-powered and another dragons. As for the Pokemon Amie...... that is so.....let's leave it like that, I don't want to get a warning or a ban for it, is just not worth it....

I had too much hope for the games at E3 and they shot me down with things I didn't want to see. Fairy type was only a rumor and it should have stayed that way. Not to mention my beef with the new SSB charcters. Everything else was fine though.

Scatterbug and Spewpa are pre-evolved pokemon of Vivillon.

And then there's Litleo a Normal/Fire type and Flabebe a fairy type.

As for new moves we have Moon Blast, Noble Roar, Fairy Wind and Boomburst.

For Pokemon-Amie I think it's awesome!
