Possible leaked characters for next Smash Bros?

Pretty decent list if true, apparently it's been posted around a bit recently. The new characters supposedly are:
  1. King K Rool (Donkey Kong)
  2. Zoroark (Pokemon)
  3. Ghirahim (Zelda)
  4. Little Mac (Punch Out)
  5. Saki Amamiya (Sin and Punishment)
  6. King Hippo (Punch Out)
  7. Ridley (Metroid)
  8. Prince Sable (Frogs the Bell Tolls)
  9. Palutena (Kid Icarus)
  10. Professor Layton (Professor Layton)
  11. Megaman (Megaman)
  12. Crystal (Star Fox)
  13. Slime (Dragon Quest)
  14. Shulk (Xenoblade)
  15. Sonic (Sonic)

This list is nearly total win if accurate. That's a LOT of fan favourites in there...

I doubt it's real. There's not even that many characters I care for. I've never even heard of Frogs the Bell Tolls.

Um... Why do they want Sonic a newcommer? Wouldn't he be better off as a returning veteran instead? I'll be interested on seeing Shulk if this list is true. Heh. Some characters such as Palutena and Ridley worries me.

If this list is accurate, these are additional characters, not the only ones. Presumably, old characters would return.

I wouldn't mind playing as K Rool or Ridley.
 
I'm not sure that this list is very likely too be true. Guest characters from four different companies (Level-5, Capcom, Square-Enix, Sega) seems rather unlikely.
Shulk would certainly be an interesting addition. And he is now technically a first, or at least second, party character - Nintendo bought most of the shares in Monoloth Soft, meaning its now a first-party developer, and that Nintendo also indirectly own the rights to the Xeno series (although Xenoblade is only nominally part of the series, anyway).

Anyhoo...i do see Nintendo adding characters like these in the next one. Megaman would be cool...but odds are slim as Capcom are complete idiots (yeah get at me).Dragon Quest characters would be cool as Mario and Dragon Quest have made a few crossovers already.
 
Out of those ones, I like Ridley and Ghirahim. I want Starfy and Waddle Dee though!

To be fair, all we know is that the game hasn't started being made yet. That doesn't mean they might not be doing some planning already (although to have a complete list of new characters at this stage, planning or no, seems pretty unlikely).

King K.Rool

It says something about using crocodiles (Kremlings/Klaptraps?) as part of his moveset, along with cannonballs. The last line describes using great power to summon his ship. It will then fire cannonballs on the stage. (Final Smash?)

Ghirahim

Uses a sword and evil magic. Final Smash is calling his master.

Crystal

Will use a magic stick. She makes barrier and shoots fireballs. Final Smash involves dinosaur friends?

Saki Amamia

Acrobatic sword user with a fast gun. Final Smash is a bit iffy. Something monsters or something.

Fake? Likely, although it seems like in many of these cases the movesets are likely to be similar to what Nintendo themselves would use.

Personally, I'd hope K Rool's final smash was a play of the Donkey Kong Country 2 ending. As in, light blasts out the centre of the stage and it sinks into the sea/bottomless pit. The light would be as powerful as Deoxys hyper beam and the stage sinking would (temporarily) take most platforms below the blast lines.

Then again, the Donkey Kong 64 game could provide pretty interesting inspiration for one, have him use the Blast O Matic on the stage and blow the place to kingdom come temporarily. The initial explosion would hit extremely hard for high damage and the result would be the stage left as a pile of rubble for a few minutes...

Also, apparently, one clue to them being fake... they were apparently taken by a DS camera (the photos). Interesting choice for someone trying to fake images, I have to wonder what they were playing at by using a crappy console camera rather than a proper one (no offence, but even the 3DS camera isn't that great compared to a standard camera, quality wise).
 
That list is fake. Half of those characters don't seem like they would make the cut.
  • King K Rool (Donkey Kong)- Possibly, but unlikely.
  • Zoroark (Pokemon)- Could replace Lucario
  • Ghirahim (Zelda)- Doubtful
  • Little Mac (Punch Out)- Doubtful. Would make a better assistance trophy if they are in.
  • Saki Amamiya (Sin and Punishment)- Don't know who that is.
  • King Hippo (Punch Out)- Even more unlikely
  • Ridley (Metroid)- Better as a boss of some sort.
  • Prince Sable (Frogs the Bell Tolls)- Don't know
  • Palutena (Kid Icarus)- I think one Kid Icarus character is enough
  • Professor Layton (Professor Layton)- I don't see how this would work.
  • Megaman (Megaman)- This could be possible as well, yet unlikely.
  • Crystal (Star Fox)- Fox, Falco, and Wolf are enough as it is seeing as they all clone.
  • Slime (Dragon Quest)- Don't see it working
  • Shulk (Xenoblade)- Don't know
  • Sonic (Sonic)- Very possible seeing as he was in SSBB.
