The animation is great. But I think that tonal whiplash in the trailer feels like something I can't recover from in the respect that I can't like this movie. Another kiddy animated film that's as average and soulless as the rest.

Garfield Movie looks like a fun 3D animated movie for people of all ages.
So I saw this earlier tonight, and without giving too much away, it's like a heist gone wrong but it's with Garfield and it's hilarious. I could care less if Garfield sounds like Chris Pratt, it's not the voice of the character that sells the movie, it's the story.
