PlayStation Pre order the PlayStation 5 Now!

Sony is offering preorders for a brand new PS5 at launch, despite not being able to provide a final price. However, not just anyone can preorder it.

There’s apparently a “limited quantity of PS5 consoles available for pre-order”, with those being “taken on a first-come-first-serve basis” and being offered only to “existing consumers via PSN account”.

With most new things I but it after the release date to see how it performances and whatnot. End of the day you get deals and bundles after the released date

If the price tag is indeed US $ 500 then it's worth it coz you'll need at least US$ 1300-1500 to build a Pc close to the PS5 but you won't have Ps5's excellent ssd speed that can read data almost as fast as reading directly from RAM. Not to mention the console specific nature of game coding optimizations, allowing you to squeeze more stuff out of it.

It maybe wirth $500 if there are a lot of PS5 games you want to play. But, a PC maybe more worth it for you if you mostly play PC games.

Can't agree with you more...I think there is still about a year, until PS5 becomes attractive with some decent/new titles.

I was thinking like this for a while. But just seeing the actual console made me want to get it at launch instead of waiting. I'm just impatient now and I want it ASAP

I fully understand since I'm the same. But there are no titles currently announced that pique my interest. And getting PS5 just so I would replay some PS4 titles isn't worth it in my case.
I'll just wait for something to blow me away and get it then.

I think if there wasn't a good enough PS exclusive and racing game coming out at launch then I would consider waiting as well. Gran Turismo looks like it will be a launch title which should be fine for me.
