PS Vita Price Drop in Japan already affecting sales

Only a few days have passed since the PlayStation Vita price drop was put into effect and promising results are already starting to show.

The image above was posted by NeoGAF user, Call Me Maybe, and apparently shows a Japanese video game store having trouble keeping up with consumer demand for several models of Sony’s powerful handheld.

Until more information is released we’ll consider this a positive sign of a strong demand for the PS Vita, but a sign yet to be confirmed. Let’s hope next week’s hardware sale numbers back up this photograph, maybe if Sony sees the price drop working in Japan they will implement it in other territories.

Another reason that makes me hate not living in Japan...

The store usually do not stock a lot of system.  I hope a price drop will come soon.  However, PS4 launch proability won't cut PS3 price.
