Has anyone purchased the Vita? Even though it's a bit out of date, I'm thinking of saving money for one. I really miss handheld gaming devices like the PSP. I used to play on my PSP everyday and everywhere, until I got introduced to PC gaming.

I rather get the PS tv which plays Vita games but on your tv. Not sure if I ever will.

I have one. Some great games, P4G, Danganronpa, etc. Get one if you like Japanese games.
I had a vita, twice. And both times I traded it in. It's not a bad handheld, in fact it's very well made. There doesn't seem to be enough available games for it though, and then ones that are available don't seem interesting enough to keep me engaged. It is good however if you have a lot of downloadable games from the PS Store, like PS1 Classics and such. They don't take advantage of all the fancy tech inside the vita of course, but probably one of the few reasons I'd own one is PS1 Classics.

I have the Nintendo 3DS and I've always been happy with that as my handheld console. Because of this, I've never thought about getting anything else for a handheld console.
