PS4 is the End of the Line

Orbis Vitae is Latin for "Circle of Life" That is an interesting reasoning, as well as an interesting slogan. The only problem is that I'll think of the Lion King every time the name of the systems are mentioned.

They explained (I can't remember what Orbis means) but they explained how the words Orbis and Vita fit together.....so I wouldn't be surprised if they call the PS4, PS Orbis.

It might be just me, but Orbis sounds horrible lol.

Who cares about the name - I have more of a problem with the graphics:

I don't want to shoot that or anything that looks like that! I mean watching the life drain out of a pair of eyes that look so human may well desensitize someone to killing in a way they haven't before. I like nice graphics, but it isn't fun killing something that looks like the dude by the bus station I give change to.

Well with cloud gaming, PS4 most likely will be the last in line as there will be no need for upgrade.

Yeah, I find it hard for consoles to keep upgrading. Which is most likely why sony put forth a 10 year wait till the next console.


But for all we know they have technology in hand we don't even know about.

I think that rebranding themselves will be good as I see most people going for Xbox instead. However, I do know a good amount of people with Playstations.
Not including a number will be confusing, but it will also present the product as a standalone product, or something that shouldn't be categorized with other products. It will come off as the Playstation, a system that cannot be compared to PS1s, etc.

so lets just wait and enjoy when it comes to market
