Tbh, amongst my coworkers, I’m one of the few weirdos that buy physical. Though there are times I wonder if it’s even worth it with PS games, because most of the game is downloaded and the disc is basically copy protection.

It’s like the old PC games where you had to have the disc in the drive to play.

I don't have a disc drive on my PC but I'm not linked into a single digital distributor. I recently picked up Amnesia: The Bunker and DEATH STRANDING DIRECTOR'S CUT for £15 for both on Fanatical. I use Steam but also Epic and other key sellers like Humble Bundle.

With PS you are locked into their store. Physical games give you options.
