PSN down again (1/Feb/2016)

PlayStation was down again for several hours but Sony didn't admit it for a long time saying it was fine for them. Not too sure if it's back up now though

confirm there was an issue.
I wonder why it was fine for them... One would think that they have a bunch of tech people ready to check for downtime 24/7...

Yes same here, sites were blowing up about the outage. We couldn't stay connected to PSN at all. It's fine now tho...

It was my last day of PSN as well so that was annoying. The amount of times it has gone down they might as well keep it down

That would be rather drastic. lol It only goes down sometimes so I'm not worried about it.

The only thing that makes Sony better is that when it goes down for long they compensate you. Microsoft just tell you to piss off

This downtime is why I'm going to hate the PS4.
It doesn't go down every day. It's just sometimes. We've had a PS3 since 2012 and I only remember a handful of times it was down...

It's gone down atleast twice now in 2016 which is not good enough considering we pay almost a price of a game every year for the service

Wouldn't be a bad thing if it was for free, but when you pay it can't be going down.
We stopped paying for the "Plus" service if that's what you mean. We did try the "PS Now" game streaming service which was really cool! Didn't renew it tho. I prefer eating over gaming. hehehe
