PSPgo has had its price dramatically slashed in the UK, with high street retailer offering some 75 GBP off the newly released handheld.

A mere two months after it first launched in the UK, HMV is selling Sony's handheld for 148.99 GBP – a huge cut from the recommended retail price of 224.99 GBP.

Sony came under fire when it first announced the price of the PSPgo, with many feeling that the premium amount wasn't justified, with the UMD-less device rendering many existing PSP owner's back-catalogues redundant.

Other retailers are also undercutting the RRP of the PSPgo, though not to the tune of HMV's offer. It's available to order online at HMV's site.

this is rather early for a price cut.

Those people who bought it on launch day must felt pretty ripped off. But, it is still a high price.

QUOTE (GracefulAssassin @ December 02, 2009 06:27 am) The reason they price cut it is because of the lack of sales. And I hope they drop it here too...
I agree or the amount of complaints Sony is getting for over-charging for the PSP GO.
