A hacker or criminal may also steal the money, or trick a person with access to the account to give a criminal most of the money in the account.
There are bank accounts where you need to physically contact the bank, or wait a few months to years to withdraw the money to keep the money safe, and also earn a higher interest rate, so you have more money than keeping it in a regular bank account.
