As expected, the Raspberry Pi foundation has launched a new version of their low-cost single-board computer. The new Raspberry Pi 3 Model B is a $35 computer with a 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A53 quad-core, 64-bit processor, built-in 802.11n WiFi and Bluetooth 4.1, and a design that makes it fully compatible with accessories and software designed for older Raspberry Pi devices.

Raspberry Pi’s third-generation computer features a Broadcom BCM2837 processor that the foundation says offers a performance improvement of up to 60 percent over the Raspberry Pi 2. The Raspberry Pi 3 is said to be about 10 times faster than the first Raspberry Pi computer.

The Raspberry Pi 3 seems like a nice $35 computer for using to play game console emulators, doing light office work like word processing, and learning how to make programs with Python, and other programming languages. I like that it now has built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a faster 64 bit Processor.

I may get the Raspberry Pi 3 if it can run a tabbed web browser like Firefox at a fast speed.

I got three groups at my school working on Pi's for their project, the fact these don't have any coverings go against everything I've learned about internal hardware.

Wouldn't any static shock kill these?
There is an official Raspberry Pi 2 case for protecting the Raspberry Pi 2 from static shock. But, a lot of people don't install a case on their Raspberry Pi because they want to save money by not spending $10 or more on a case for the Raspberry Pi circuit board.

There are also plenty of unofficial cases which you can get from eBay, and Amazon sellers.

I personally use a case on my Raspberry Pi circuit board computers because it makes the Raspberry Pi look cooler, and for protection from static shock, drops, dust, and small drops of liquid like people sneezing or spitting water on the circuit board by accident while they talk.

There is no such thing as a waste of money when it comes to protecting your tech.
I agree there is no such of a waste of money when protecting tech. I usually get a case to protect my tech like tablet, and Raspberry Pi.

I think a lot of people are too lazy to order a case for their Raspberry Pi.

Raspberry Pi cases are usually very affordable because they can be bought for less than $10 on eBay or Amazon.

I always wanted to get a PI but never had the guts to get one. PI was around $50 but in total for all essential needs to make this project more alighted is around $150. That's with case with power supply and cords like mini html. The end results it's still damn cheap and really fun plus learning. I have a big fat book about the raspberry PI one and two. Both are different and so is three. My IT teacher has a Raspberry one that is being used for OS clocking and seeing what works. Turns out its great for connected to a big TV thought HDMI for watching things.

There are $70 Pi 2 starter kits which are available on eBay and Amazon which come with the Raspberry Pi 2 PC, Pi 2 case, heatsinks for cooling the Pi 2's chips, 2 AMP Micro-USB power supply, 8GB MicroSD card pre-loaded with the Operating system installer files called NOOBS, USB Wi-Fi adapter, HDMI cable, and instruction manuals.

A lot of users just need to buy the Pi PC, and a case since many people already own a Micro-USB charger, MicroSD Card, HDMI video cable, and a TV or monitor with HDMI video ports.

The Pi PC has a full-size HDMI cord like HDMI port on Blu-Ray players. You can also use a cheaper composite video cable to connect the Pi to the Yellow Composite video port found on older TVs.

A $10 2 Amp smartphone charger with a Micro-USB Charging cable is usually powerful enough to power the Pi . A cheaper 4GB MicroSD card would be good enough for beginners and less-advance users who just plan on using a Raspberry Pi for running a few programs like LibreOffice, a web browser, older games like Quake 3 or Minecraft Pi, and media players like OMXPlayer and Kodi.

seems that you are organized and ready to take it on. Good. About it is that you can put it in your pocket, well make that three and a bag. You also buy a keyboard that is small, and folding up keyboard and regarding a mouse, they a small once around. Best option is a lasers keyboard mouse in one technology device where it lasers the desk and you hit the desk
