mario kart is going to be mario kart. so is mario 3d. regardless they still look good.
 
Mario Kart still will be a Mario Kart. So it's ok, I guess.

Super Mario 3D Land seems more interesting.
 
Mario Kart 7<Super Mario 3D Land<Luigi's Mansion 2.

Meaning that I don't care much for MK7. It'll be the same as every other Mario Kart game. Not that it's bad, but you know. Super Mario 3D Land looks better than MK7, but... I'd still rather have Luigi's Mansion 2 more than either of them. Though out of just those 2 SM3DL would be better than MK7.
 
Both games are really piquing my interest and excitement. They both are probably going to be amazing. But only time will tell...
 
I hate this "still the same Mario Kart" thing everybody keeps saying. Of course it will have SIMILAR elements. But I know for certain it's going to get a bazillion hours of game play from me, just like Mario Kart DS and Mario Kart Wii did. And all the other Mario Kart games.
 
Im looking forward to Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3D Land. I might have them on my birthday or Christmas.
 
I can't wait till Mario Kart 7 is out. I'm aching to race with all of you. You gotta love competition and memories behind such a game.

As for Mario Land 3D, it looks good. I'll probably pick it up also.
 
Mario Kart 7 looks pretty fun, since they are throwing in those parasail(howevz you spell it) and the coins are back. I also want to race really bad online with you guys. I am sure I will have my own 3DS by then.

Yeah, they're so the same. I mean Super Mario Kart clearly has underwater racing, and the ability to hangglide.
 
I am really looking forward to both games! I am not a pro on Mario Kart, and most of you will probably clean my clock, but I am excited to race and balloon battle with someone in 3D! 0.o

That's not what I meant. I didn't mean gameplay wise. I meant the way the game works. In reality all racing games are the same. I love Mari Kart and if I had a 3DS I would probably get Mario Kart 3DS. I'm just saying that's nothing the game has that's any different from other games. The only thing is customization of karts, but I'm sure when they make another Mario Kart for the Wii or the Wii U it'll have that feature as well.
 
Well you could say that about every video game in existence. If you've played Goldeneye on the N64, then Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is just the same. If you've played Super Mario Bros, Cave Story 3D is the same.
