Wanna hear something funny?

A UK-based organization called the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry, which serves as the “worldwide arm for the music recording industry,â€￾ forgot to renew its .com domain and it got snatched up by one of its top targets, torrent search engine The Pirate Bay. While the IFPI still controls ifpi.org, ifpi.com now points to a Pirate Bay page that reads: "International Federation of Pirates Interests."

A-hahahahahahaha!

The two are about to battle over the domain, and it ain’t gonna be pretty.

The Pirate Bay was given the domain by a cyber-squatter who bought it after it expired.

"We have not done anything illegal or even immoral," the Pirate Bay's Peter Sunde said. "I can't see why we shouldn't be able to keep the domain name. We're not going to bash IFPI on it, we're going to host our own IFPI on it."

And that, my friends, is what we call sweet justice.
