What did you do to fix that red ring of death that showed up on old Xbox models? Did you ever discover a working method to fix it or at least stop it for a while?
I know there was the whole towel method...

I never figured it out. I ended up getting a new Xbox :P

I have an Xbox 360 Arcade, I've had it since 5th grade, and I'm in 9th grade this year, lol. Only once i got a single red light, but then I just turned it off and when i turned it off it was perrfectly fine. I've never had any ring problems since, but for a while the laser diode thing was off center, and that's the only problem i had, until i was finally able to disassemble it. but ya, as for other ways to fix my friend wrapped a towel around his and stuck it in the microwave for a few seconds? idk but i guess it helped. he said you can only do it a couple times tho. hope that helped.
