So the FBI arrested a r/doordash mod for conspiracy to commit terrorism.

The user u/i_love_femboys6969 (also known as u/slopdestroyer and u/ILoveGayRobloxPorn) was apart of a Roblox ISIS group and was planning a mass shooting until he was arrested by the FBI, who then seized a semiautomatic rifle from the hotel he was staying.

This is one of the darkest things I've ever seen a Reddit mod do.

Im sorry, a WHAT
So, Roblox has a bunch of ISIS roleplay groups, it's been a problem for a while. And quite a lot of them have had actual federal investigations into them.

Hell earlier this year Singapore intervened after a 14 year old boy began having similar thoughts.

Roblox needs to be nuked, or heavily monitored (which I'm sure it is) to catch all this madness.

Those usernames though, this person was definitely a troll but then went down the wrong path. Roblox really needs better moderation, heck at this point it should probably cease to exist.

ISIS used to control half of syria and lebanon and now they are recruiting on a children's game lol. They sure fell off.

Hopefully, Reddit and Roblox can more quickly identify more violent members before the violent members will kill and hurt more people in real life.

I have instructed my family to keep their kid away from this garbage. I will only do videos of Roblox, but in no certain terms will I ever let my child into that steaming pile of shit platform.
And everyone thought Fortnite was the real issue here.
The problem is Roblox and Fortnite is targeted at kids. Epic Games is just better at cracking down on losers. Roblox is way too basic for a game. WAY... way... WAY too basic. Many of the maps are asset flips, and kids don't know that. Coding is shit. Like, when you pick up a gun, and shoot it... the weapon model is stuck on the side. It looks like a glitch to me, but it's not. So, once you shoot the gun, the bullet flies from the hole to the character or boss - like brah... it's insulting.

When adults talk to kids, they know they're vulnerable. They know it's easy to coax a fucking retard. I was on instagram, and I saw a video... literally about this. A guy talked to a child, asked for their address (albeit coy), and WENT to the address, and TALKED to the child... with whatever intention they had. I saw that and I'm like... "...ewwww."

Roblox has a lot of pedo's too also IKEA is on it, and it pays users once they have an opening it's basically a simulator or the real IKEA

IKEA? Never figured they be in on it lol.
Oh yeah. There's tables, chairs... stuff like that. But the thing is, there's no IKEA logo on it. They want you to associate that kind of furniture with IKEA, which in the end - yikes. I don't think IKEA knows nearly what goes on on Roblox, but once people figure it out, and traffic to IKEA locations, yeah... they'll sue. I see Sonic and similar SEGA characters in there, too.. eventually, SEGA will go sue, too. But they don't need to do it because Roblox is losing so much money on their own.

I just was coming across this thread, and saw what was being said about what happened with the redditor. Good on the FBI for getting him, but that's insane to think about.

I tried using Reddit back in the day, I barely, if ever use reddit, and if I did, it would be under some other synonym due to the fact that, I don't really trust having my name and face out there for everyone to see. I think it's because of what my Mass Comm teacher told me many years ago that, anyone can get a face of you on the internet, and make you do crazy things with it, and if you post your kids on it, which... I have seen happen on the news, you're kids are going to be posted in crazy positions to where they didn't nor can't consent to being apart of.

The fact that this is connected to Roblox isn't that big of a thing, I've known for years that Roblox is connected to a lot of really insane groups, like people thinking that if they commit X they'll join in the group, like ISIS in this example, but also other ones, like the Comm or 764. Though, it is to say that, at 26, I could never see myself going into Roblox like that, I've only tried it every now and again as a kid, but I never once genuinely enjoyed it, for similar, if not the reasons Legend mentioned earlier. I always liked Minecraft more, Minecraft was always more appealing, despite some of the issues it had in it's passed with... some creators on YouTube.

This had to have began somewhere for the individual though, the person must've just went full mentally ill, went down a rabbit hole, and thought that if they did this, it would let them join in the group, only for it to be like one of those "groups" that larps as ISIS.

I also tried using Reddit, and I saw this very early on. Moderation is trash. It's basically a leftist "community." If you say something wrong, they'll hate you. If you post something cool, they'll hate you. I'm not joking. When I posted my Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 videos, everyone would dunk on my videos - it's an echochamber. So... I stopped using Reddit. And nothing is going to change there. I already met the co-founder of the company itself, and I complained about this - he doesn't care.

I lived in California. I lived in Silicon Valley.
