I am not surprised that the marketshare for Windows Phones users is becoming smaller. I bet, Windows Phone marketshare could be below 1% in a few months.
I think that fewer people want a Windows Phone because there are not as many apps, games, and Streaming media services like YouTube which still does not have an official app for Windows Phone.
There are also now a lot of good Google Android phones which cost under $100, so someone who wants a decent Android smartphone can get one for a cheap price.
