Revamped Dex

looks nice, would be cool to see you do some of the sprites from Red and Blue. I bet the legendaries and Dragonite line would look weird.


I actually had been attempting to do Dragonite, but I don't know what to do about it's right eye. This is a very WIP version of that.

Nice work! I think Porygon and Jolteon from Green version would look great if they were revamped. (Of course you don't have to do it if you don't want to.)

Hey that's a pretty decent Dragonite if you ask me. Right eye doesn't look too bad, not exactly sure what you could do with it. Getting rid of it might not be an option.

Well, I haven't actually touched the eye. And I also say it's very WIP because I haven't actually touched most of the original shading. The hard part is trying to make it look like the current design, since the early games have a lot more "evil" looking faces and such. Here's the original sprite:

Porygon is easy enough to do... Vaporeon looks a pretty dog-like...

I'll take a shot at them tomorrow, and maybe finish up Dragonite.
 
Before you go make sure it's Jolteon and not Vaporeon and yes that is the Porygon Sprite (which I like better than the R/B/Y one).

Here's Porygon. I'll try taking a crack at Dragonite, Flareon, and Jolteon later. Nope. This sprite must have been made before Porygon's design was finalized. The original is totally missing that blue frontal portion.

haha at first I thought you were talking about it's blue nose/bill and I was so confused but now I know you're talking about the chest not being blue in the old games.

Most of the other sprites don't use lines at the edges of Porygon's geometry, so this one was more easy to look off of.

This ghastly is pretty fantastic in my opinion. It really captures a mischievous side that is really cool.
 
It's like I said though, the body is way too big. The eyes should actually be protruding from the body a bit, actually.
