Well I have just seen the new Apes film and I must say; I am impressed. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I highly recommend it to anyone and I think fans of the franchise will not be disappointed. If you guys have any thoughts on the film, please feel free to share. Be nice to get a good discussion going.

been a long while since I seen the old movies, I even hear this new one makes several references to them. I will most likely see it next week.

It has one reference that is so goddamn awesome you will probably nedgasm if you are a fan. I know I practically did in the theatre

I have only seen the original Apes film and the 2001 film but I have them all and will watch them all over the course of the week.

Andy Serkis steals the show in the movie more than anyone else and Tom Felton also does a good job as the asshole character but I hope it doesn't set a staple for him as an actor
lol. saw the trailer for this sht and I thought the evolved monkey apes were hilarious, ruining the action gig of the movie. I don't recommend this

The film wasn't an action really though? It was more of a drama, the rise of Caesar and his simian brothers to form the basis for a planet of the apes reboot.
