Announced today during PlayStation’s showcase event, Rise of the Ronin is the latest game from the studio that has previously brought us Ninja Gaiden and Nioh.

It’s the second game in the same press conference to be set in 19th-century Japan, around the end of the Shogunate and the Meiji Restoration.

Rise of the Ronin is coming in 2024 as a PlayStation console exclusive. PC port possible in the future.
 
Nice so this time is a samurai and not a ninja like the ghost.
 
Game will have many possible story options :

Beyond the action elements, we will be steadfast in our efforts to create a multilayered story that showcases the world of the Bakumatsu period and the revolution that took place. The characters that you will meet all have their own brand of justice and motivations, and whether you decided to side with or against them… each decision you make will matter. With new combat action and unrestrained open gameplay, we are looking forward to setting you free as you immerse yourself as a Ronin.
