I'm not very interested in Xbox Ally because I prefer playing games on a bigger TV.

I rather get a steam deck or Switch 2. From what I can see on early reviews, its a bit bulky:

I'd pass on the ROG Xbox Ally or really any handheld devices like these. I prefer to play games on my TV or on my PC, I don't really care much for handhelds these days. When I get a Switch 2, I'm just going to mainly play it docked like I did with my Switch.

Steam deck can be docked as well.

Yeah I think it only has PC Game Pass on it, so you'd be missing out on the games that come to console game pass. I'm sure someone will find a way to mod this though lol.
Also I had no clue you could dock the Steam Deck, thanks for letting me know about that @Demon_Skeith!

I think most Windows Gaming tablets can be docked as well.
Using a desktop PC hooked up to a TV or large monitor could be more affordable than using a Steamdeck in docked mode to play Steam games.

Apparently pre-owned models are starting to flood the market.

I think more people may buy the Xbox Ally if it can play physical games like the PSP, Switch, and 3DS.

I'm sure someone will hack it to let you emulate the consoles. Emulators exists for all three of these platforms.
