Rumor: GoldenEye Remake Reportedly In Limbo

GamesBeat's Jeff Grubb shared some information regarding GoldenEye 007's development on Twitter recently. A conversation had started regarding what was happening with GoldenEye 007 and Grubb offhandedly stepped in with a response. According to Grubb, GoldenEye 007 is currently "in limbo." He also shared a general explanation for why, stating that it's in limbo due to the "war." Grubb doesn't provide any further details, but appears to be reporting on the subject confidently.

It is unfortunate that Goldeneye 007 remake may not be released because it's in limbo due to the "war." Hopefully, the workers are safe from the war if Grubb means a real war like the Ukraine war making Ukrainian workers having a harder time to work on Goldeneye 007 because of the war.

Don't get why the war affects it, Russia wasn't the main bad guy of the series.
