Russia to mobilize up to 500,000 for major spring offensive -Ukraine

Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Vadym Skibitskyi said that around January 15 conscription would begin and that it would take Russian forces around two months to organize its formations.

Damn I thought it should be over by now at least but it looks like both sides are preparing for a spring offensive. Ukraine is also getting tanks now from the west but will they have enough people?

Either way Ukraine has already lost even if they drive them back, they're now going to be a war torn country that won't know peace because neither side will accept the new border and russia is just going to be faced with decades of insurgency if they win and if Ukraine wins it will be russia that will be working to destabilize UA.
 
Looks like they are putting that war draft to use.
 
Hopefully, many Ukrainian people, who want to evacuate from Ukraine, can travel to a safer place away from the fighting in Ukraine.

Things are going to get tougher and tougher for Ukraine as Russia is on an entirely different scale for industry and population when compared to them. And that isn't even factoring in that Ukraine can barely run its industry and Russia can build right on the border without much fear of attack.

Western support is about all Ukraine can hope for as most reports are really focusing on them needing to break through now vs later and currently they lack the means to overcome the size of the Russian army. I personally don't see these new tanks as being the final piece to allowing a push back to the Russian border.
