Whats your school year like?

I start on september 8th. Move in on september 1st. My schedule can be found in the school thread on TMF if you're interested.

So whats your major again? Those all are general ed classes.

Computer science. The two math courses, the CS course, and the english course are all required. I chose a phil course for my elective because it fills another one of the requirements.

I hate school.  It is all way painful.  Back to school is one of the worst day of the year.

Well I moved up here yesterday and orientation is this week, then classes start next week.

^ Lol why? Some of the orientation events are actually really fun - last night I went to a hypnosis show, which was amazing, and tonight I went on a guided tour of the downtown area.

I'm not in school -- Locked out because of strike

When the Ontario teachers were about to strike last year, the ontario government passed a law that would fine teachers thousands of $$ for every day they chose to strike. That put an end to that pretty fast.

sit in a long winded speech from the administration and senior students, get photo IDs taken and a tour of the campus and view our online accounts. Considering I had a migraine the night before I should have skipped it all.

I've had a week full of all kinds of events, starting in the morning and going right through the evening, including shows, guest speakers & presentations, a talent show, a carnival, a tour of the city, and many other events and activities.
